Korean Architect — Jinwoo Jang
Jinwoo Jang is a Korean-American architect with over 25 years of experience, registered to practice architecture in New York, New Jersey, Texas, and Washington State.
Jin’s education bridges both countries: he attended Yonsei University in Seoul, Korea, before earning his Bachelor of Architecture at the New York Institute of Technology and a Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture and Preservation.
Throughout his career, Jin has remained active in the Korean-American community, serving as Chairman of the Scholarship Committee for the Korean-American Youth Foundation and Vice President of the Korean-American Association of Flushing.
As a Korean architect practicing in the United States, Jin brings a cross-cultural design perspective — research-based and pragmatic rather than driven by a single design signature — to residential, institutional, and hospitality projects alike.
