JWJA transformed a former supermarket building through a comprehensive alteration and interior renovation. The firm presented several new facade alternatives to the leadership of the rapidly expanding national supermarket chain. The facade was fully revitalized with the use of thin brick, EIFS, and architectural cast stone provided by Corinthian Cast Stone of Long Island. The new entrance vestibule was designed with an added vertical extension to showcase the store’s identity. JWJA also created a database-managed list of all supermarket equipment for the construction documents and outlined the type, placement, and linear footage of each piece. Additionally, a new food outlet was designed within the store to increase customer traffic at the front of the building.
